It’s no secret that we admire the french electro punks Kap Bambino. Imagine our happy surprise when they actually came to play NYC few month ago. The show was crazy packed, singer Caroline Martial was frantic bouncing around the stage, jumping into the audience, and generally going crazy while  keyboardist Orion Bouvier stayed in the background drinking PBR’s and controlling the machinery. Although sound wasn’t the greatest (maybe because we were right upfront?) the energy of the show more then made up for it. In addition we included a few of our favorite mp3s from their 2007 album  New Breath from Zero Lite Night Vision.

It’s been a little over a month since the finish of the Drop Dead Festival 6.  Looking back now it almost seems impossible that we shared five days of perfect madness and music overdose in Portugal. We came from all over the world and we celebrated like there is no tomorrow. As after the festival blues sets in and I begin to miss the hell out of friends who live way to far for me too visit, here is a bit of a pick me up.
